The Phantom of the Opera

Name: Erik, AKA The Phantom of the Opera

Profile: Composer. Designer. Engineer. Inventor. Magician. Madman. Murderer. Once upon a time, a boy was born so deformed of face that even his mother refused to look on him, giving Erik a mask before any other clothes. Wandering the world, growing up in freak shows and carnivals, Erik hid whenever he could and learned everything he could find. As a young man, a ballerina from Paris' Opera Populaire took pity on him and hid Erik in the Opera House. In the years since, the "Opera Ghost" has always been busy.

Closed RP: For the purposes of a closed RP storyline with

muse_nymphet, shortly after the events of the story, Erik discovered that he was an Immortal. He has continued to spend the last two centuries beneath the Opera House in Paris, attempting to compose and find a muse the equal of Christine, with no success.

Disclaimer: This IJ is for use in RP & writing communities. The Phantom of the Opera is based primarily on the Andrew Lloyd Webber version of the story, both the stage musical and 2004 film, and was originally created by Gaston Leroux. I am not Erik and I'm not any of the actors portraying him in graphics, including mostly Gerard Butler.
